My beautiful Martin guitar, a similar model to that played by Johnny Cash. As soon as I picked this beauty up, we connected. Anyway, I wanted to somehow capture the essence of the instrument, and this is what I have...so far.

This guitar is like family to me. I know that sounds strange, but it has the ability to lift one out of one's circumstances and transport them to a different plane.

Hello Kieran

I like the concept, but very blurry. I would have used a much higher f/stop. maybe f/11. the reason being is their is not enough space between the strings and main body of the guitar. Still the use of B/w makes this very intersting.

I love this kind of shot, but have to agree with Jimmy .. .looks like only the first few strings are in focus, and maybe the edge of the pick guard. You should try it again, because its a great concept. I like the B&W conversion though.

Hi Kieran,
Very good sharpnes, specially in the strings, a powerful composition, and an elegant presentation in b/w.
