[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Don't frown, you never know who's falling in love with your smile :)"

They had hung these on one of the smaller trees on campus, I liked the concept.

Technique: I used GIMP to add an opacity layer mask to the image and then manually painted over the red region to reveal the heart and the strings using a black brush.

A good CU of this subject. The choice of B&W background with the heart in color works well as does the vignette.

I used GIMP before my PS days. I have recommended it to people who could not afford a PS or PSE and wanted a full featured image editor.
