[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saturday evening we decided to take the kids and the dog out for a wander along the beach at Hengistbury Head, where we got treated to a decent sunset and some nice wave action from the rising tide. I couldn't resist putting the two together and playing with the movement of the water to add a little drama to the shot.

Impressive low angle composition Miles really works for the strech of rushing waves in slow shutter exposure time. Wow! how I wish there is movement of sky. Great shot.

Hi Miles,
Fascinating image!
I like the contrast the photo shows with this so calm sea et the rush of the wave on the beach! Stillness versus movement!
Fantastic moody atmosphere still more enhanced by your post treatment.
Beautifully done! Annie

Welcome back Miles...
I do believe you gave me a couple of tuition links a few years back. (Thanks, they helped no end)

This is a stunning shot, and I love the way you've caught the water'e edge sweeping across the image to the right, but the rolling tide sweeping off the left.
Very nice silkiness to the water and I see you've timed it perfectly to have the flow receding so as not to hide the small pebbles at the water's edge in the foreground.

Nice use of the filter too to bring out the detail in the sky.

Now I know why I missed your shots.

Wonderful shot! Great light and good effect with the exposure time. Very nice colors and POV.

This is beautiful Miles. Great movement of the water with incredible color and crisp detail. Absolutely wonderful! TFS, Lori
