[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I don't upload images of people very often, but this is one I just could not resist.

This woman was leading a group of line dancers at the Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival last fall -- she looked like she was having so much fun!

I must apologize for the date stamp -- I reset the wrong thing in the camera and caused it to register a date that was out by a whole year for a few months -- very annoying!
This was composed in camera, and cropped minimally from the left.
Captured in raw, adjusted levels and colour saturation in raw, converted to jpg, resized and sharpened with a 2 pixel frame added.

Hello Silke,

very nice portrait - I really like the warm lighting and the off camera glance. Effective DOF on the other dancers in the background. Nice contrasts of colours throughout. Part of me wishes though that it was either cropped in a bit more, or zoomed out to show complete body/arms in the frame to give context and more of a freed pose...

Hi Silke,
Great portrait of this country line dancer. The natural sun light looks great. I can't tell if she is singing or giving instructions to other dancers. Anyway, nice dof and good clarity. Nice shot Silke.

Hi Silke,
wow how many shades of white have you captured within this scene without any OE? I had guessed you may have used 75mm for this portrait shot,but I'm wrong again,it's perfect @ 155mm.The facial colors look so natural,I like how the sun rays are striking her features.TFS
