I don't get out much with the camera at the moment! Last night ,my wife and I went for dinner with friends. This is the view from their apartment balcony.

30 seconds at f10 and 100 ISO.

Very little PP - clone out spots, frame and name.

Bonjour David,

Nice city scape again. Beautifull details all over (sharpness and shade). As ususal it demonstrate your ability to master your wide-angle zoom lens. Beautifull blue light in the sky. Excellent work and TFS.

Bonjour David,
Beautiful nocture picture of this city of Dubai marina,
great composition and with beautiful contrast and light,
Sharp and clear post card from Dubai..
compliments
Michel

Hi David,

Perfect exposure, you have retained some light in the sky which really throws the lit buildings forward almost 3 dimensional. That is some view your friends have.

Douglas

Dear DAvid,

A postcard from Dubai?! Potentially, yes! :)

Great control on light and perfect exposure here.
The picture is pin-sharped and clarity is amazing. One can see every minor detail within this shot.
I like the way you included the water and the mirror-reflections on its surface.
The blue hour and its beauty in providing a suitable contrast is additional bonus.
Very well handled work.

Happy Easter!

Thanks and regards,
Paras

Hello David,

Effective exposure and light control.
Nicely presented in this postcard framing.

A great photo; better by far then the average postcard. I think the light, clarity and composition are wonderful.

Hi David,
Another sharp and clear night photo of Dubaļ!
Your friends would make pay so that their guests can enjoy this view!:-)
Perfect long exposure. I especially like the beautiful sky, the little blue touches in the golden facades and the nice details on the boats in foreground.
My compliments! Annie

Hi David,
An artistic nocturnal postcard shot of this particular splendid city scape using the blue hour!
Perfect sharpness and an interesting bird's eye view with this fantastic wide angle lens!
Great artificial lighting and such a wonderful composition with these skyscrapers!
Very neat work.
My regards,

Francis Xavier

Spectacular view!! That must have been up a few floors. Well done, as always. The colors are rich, and I love the vignetting. whether it's something you added or not.. it's lovely the way the brightness of the sky in the middle, draws the eye in. well done.
Spring has finally come.. maybe I'll finally get out with my camera. I haven't been out at all with mine either.
Cheers

Beautiful David. Neat execution, damn those passing dhow at the left end almost distracted to the pattern of light and curved line of the paveway.

Regards,

Buddy

Hi David,
I know it's not the pots & pans that make the quality of a meal, nor is it the lens nor camera type, that make the final image, but I am impressed with the quality of your wide angle Sigma, man this is one SHARP image,if I'm not mistaken this image can be blown up to a huge size & still maintain its sharpness. Impressive stuff.
Cheers
Ron

Boa noite David,
Scene of great luxury and affluence for a good postcard.
But what matters here is to comment your photo, which is very pretty, with good POV/DOF, sharp, neat and well lit.
Good pp.

What a killer shot David!! Excellent work here, any reason for F10?.... I usually start with F11 and up...not sure why either! lol!.... Excellent result, the buildings seems to GLOW! Love that blue hour!
