[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Robin and its mate have been building and guarding this nest for the last couple months in front of my house. He is very intent in his pursuit to guard his babies. I looked inside the nest yesterday to find two babies and two unhatched eggs. This morning a squirrel had attempted to peek inside - the robin chased him around for about 2 minutes; I had never seen anything quite like it. Very protective.

Photographic Notes
Cropped the image, added vibrancy and clarity, as well as color balance, all performed in PS as a RAW image. The frame was later added in PS.

I've been really busy with work so my time critiquing and uploading to TL has been limited lately, but I hope you enjoy this shot.

Both a cute image and note about your subject.
A Very good capture.

Do you know the song Spoon Full of Sugar from Mary Poppins? The robin is most intent in his pursuit, he has a merry toot toot toot...:-) Great note and fantastic shot! Great timing and excellent capture of this robin guarding the nest and its babies. Nice to know they are safe and sound.TFS, Lori

Hi Kurt,
Nice details and point of view of this robin,
a very nice capture and lovely pose,
good colors and light,
well done.

Good clarity, light and detail in this shot. Composition is interesting, the high placement of subject seems unusual but certainly catches attention.

Hi Kurt,

A lovely closeup capture from a beautiful Robin with quite nice details!
The colors are natural and quality of the work is nice.
The size of the picture is too small (500 px), therefore I have done WS to maximize it to 800 px, hoping you don't mind.

There is bit noise visible in the picture but it can be removed using free programs available free on the web.

Thanks and regards,

Hi Kurt,
A superb presentation of this robin in its nest!
Not a really sharp image, perhaps there was a move from the bird!
Good light management and a splendid crop.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Sur le nid, superb eiamge et compo mangigiqeu quel bel oiseua, toujour très intéressant sur un nide, quelle captage, amngigique trsè bonne gestion des lumières.

bravo et amitié

Nice details however the nest appears to be sharper than the robin. Possibly a small aperture would have increased your dof to have both focussed. Nice shot. TFS

Hey Kurt,

Looks like you are getting "the look" from this bird. What an interesting experience watching the process. Glad you got a good picture of it.

Don't work too hard.

Hello Kurt,
The composition of this tiny bird is beautiful. Nicely selected PoV and fine details on it's nest is looking great. Exciting day light catch, well done my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Best Regards,
