Born to Run
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|An egret runs along the water surface after catching its prey. These are the moments that make it all worthwhile...nature photography to me is the ultimate kick! However, it can also be very frustrating when you miss that shot. I delete more photos from a day's shooting than any other type of photography and it is important not to get too emotional about every shot- otherwise you will fill up a hard drive in no time and waste many hours contemplating which ones to keep! So being selective and choosy when taking the shots help- If the light is not good enough I just sit and enjoy watching my subjects and use this time to study their behavior and other traits. Thank you for your critiques and suggestions.|

What a catch for both of you:) for egret a handful of lunch while for you the egret's pose itself as you beautifully captured with decisive moment and superb details against the lovely cool blue surface of water.
Picture of the day!...at least for me, dear Dilshan!
Great focus and nice moment you have caught here.
The sharpness and focus are superb, and clarity is nice.
Good contrast to the blue waters.
Have a nice Sunday!
