On the trek to Laguna de Los Tres, about 3 hours into the trek here... Our target was the glacial lake 'Lagune de Los Tres' far ahead in the distance and up a very steep hill!

A gin-clear day, great light, although by this time if day Mt FitzRoy is backlit.

Hello David

Spectacular South American scenery and you were lucky to be there just before the anti UK riots of the past week over the Falkland Islands. The bridge & path add lead in lines. The snowcapped peaks make a nice backdrop. Tfs!

Great photo, David.
The place is extremely beautiful and you could play all this beauty. Perfect POV/DOF, beautiful colors and details.
In summary a great post.

Hi David,
That's a great POV to this landscape shot, again using properly your Sigma 10-20mm lens!
An enormous DOF produced by this hand layed wooden bridge! Great clarity while the BG mountians are soft to increase DOF.
Perfect neat work, my friend.

Absolutely spectacular scenery. Amazing line of mountains. Looks like a tourist poster.

Bonjour David,

You gave up Nikon!!! How sad, BUT you are proving that a good imgae is not equipment but the person behind it. A nice balanced composition (no equipment can do that, only photographer's keen eye). Beautifull exposure, sharp details, excellent choice of angle of view (I can see, you got the same good old Sigma 10-20 for the Minolta, why change with a winning formula?). Excellent work and TFS.

Another marvelous landscape shot with superb contrasts, David!
It could be a post contribution to Travel Magazines for Argentina!!

Great contrasts and perfect clarity with amazing low POV.
The colors are natural and exposure is professionally handled.
Well done!

Kind regards,

Wow! spectacular scenery!! The view is really breath-taking. The colors are just beautiful. You've composed this shot very nicely - so much to see here.
That's quite a trek!~

Hi David,
perfect shot of spectacular landscape. Great contrasts and perfect POV. Beautiful colors & good manage of light. Well done.
Kind Regards,

You have great equipment and you are a pilot so you fly everywhere and see exciting things and this entitles you in the eyes of the less fortunate that your are indeed a great photographer.
I picked this one out taken at a very scenic region, but I feel
your photo doesn't live up to it. It's a sharp colour shot but I do not feel the majesty of the place that a talented photographer would easily convey. Quite frankly it's a very average photo.
