Diana Phillips Poppy
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This poppy was captured under strong wind conditions...but the movement is captured with 'stop-action' so the details are still there...|
with 1/250 it was enough for this purpose under direct sun light. To beet the harsh light f/16, in order to get details without too much of noise factor with ISO 100.
the flower is picked out from its background and the layer behind, is used with notion blur to creat the background effects.

I admire the detail captured of this poppy, the center with its frond and the tones making up the petals are so attractive.
Am not sure the BG effect adds much though in my opinion as it takes the eye off the subject too much. tfs

I like the effect you adapted for this marvelous poppy. Absolute perfect light especially on the core of the flower. I like the PP work to produce that stunning green motion blur in the BG.
Bom dia David,
You perpetuated this beautiful poppy with color superb, almost a good Bordeaux.
The substance and density are very attractive. Beautiful background and other details, so as this admirable shallow DOF.
