I like the result you have achieved in this shot, Erwin!

Superb focus and perfect timings with amazing light and exposure control.
The sharpness and POV are well done, and golden color tones are just lovely.

Thanks for sharing.

Kind regards,

Hi erwin.

I can never tire from seeing these water droplets captured like this, you have chose a pleasing tone for this. Good focal point and interesting shapes created. tfs

stv ;o))

An interesting experiment Jonathan.
The column of water in the centre is very sharp.I like the blur of the surrounding golden water.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Awesome capture of this drop! I really need to work on my techniques for shots like this, I tried it with raindrops the other day (the city got flooded with just 2 inches of rain) but I was not happy with the result. Good idea about the water with oil, love the warm golden colors. Very well done, tfs.

très belle tiente que ce liquide doré!
un site liquiddrop art vous ravira

Cooking oil , hey hey, well why not for the sake of coloring the liquid it sure does the job ! It takes some luck getting a separate drop at the top , seemingly you wouldn't get that every time nevertheless good experiment although i wish the said drop be sharper , i might be tempted to try something like this someday but for now i'll be just as happy to look at this one , lol ! Good job on the exposure Erwin , tfs ,
