'Little shoes' By sheer coincidence, taken before I knew of this weeks theme, I had taken this shot on a trip out only last week!!
Taken in the children's bedroom at Lanhydrock, a National Trust property in Cornwall. These shoes probably date from Victorian times.
I did take a closer view of these delightful shoes, but thought that this wider view would put the shoes into context.
I also considered posting in sepia, but I liked the colours of the various shoes and boots, and the colours of the carpet etc.,What do you think?

Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean, a nice contribution to the Theme - I love the way they are lined up - just as in the families in the olden time ..... nowadays the sneakers of the kids - mainly - end up anywhere !!
Thanks for sharing - kind regards Monika

Thanks for the note.

Hi Jean.

Yes, the wider view was the better choice, this way we get to see the perspective of size more clearer. I like your idea of sepia tones too, both would do justice I feel. I like the blue, upholstered chairs, they made the scene come alive for me, very well framed also, neat job Jean once again. Have a good one, tfs

stv ;o))

P.S. We loved Lanhydrock too but had an uncany experience in the childrens room.

Hi

Yes, I think the wider view is the better. I think this is well framed with good sharpness. I also like the plain blue of the chairs against the busy patterns of the carpet and foot stool. I might visit there this weekend.
Thanks for sharing.

That could be chinese princess shoes back years ago :). Really nice

Good choice to go with colors, I don't think they will look as good in B&W. I like the wider view, it provides for a better perspective. Good lighting and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

I think this picture would lose the charm in sepia, I like it in color very much, interesting note
