[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Zebras are members of the horse family being native to southern and central Africa. Most living in grasslands and savannaswhile some insub desert and arid grasslands. They are very couragous animals and not afraid to onfront predators, also have a powerful kick which can and does cause serious injury to predators such as lions, hyeanas and african wild dogs.
They stay in the same family groups for years.Should one get lost or go astray the rest of the family will spend many days looking for it.They are more active during daylight hours. Each zebra has a unique pattern of stripes. Usually sleep standing positions. They are intellegent social animals.
PS: Teresa I hope you have a big enough garden...they are on there way.

Hi Erwin.

Dont encourage her.

Wonderful group captured, the odd one facing this way certainly does break up the scene and semetry. Once again, very good detail shown, I like the mane and the way its standing out like this.

stv ;o))

Ola Erwin
Thanks for these beautiful animals. Good sharpness and good details...the group has a cool posture to the portrait. If I want to see a zebra I must go to the Zoo...you seem to have to search in your natural landscape.I knew they were brave and that they live in groups... if I had a very big, big garden...who knows ( ehehehe)...Muito Obrigada
um abraço
teresa
