Why title like this? - well, Salt Wash in Utah is pretty huge area of desert with spectacular rock formations, full of beautiful forms and colors. To survive there is one big challenge so only the tough ones can do it and there is just few of these organisms.
Millions of years ago this place was full of life because that what you are looking on is a bottom of prehistoric sea. So face of Earth is changing like chameleon... just much slower...

PP work - "usual suspects" :) - contrast and light control adjustment, shadows and highlights, noise reduction and sharpening.

Hello Tomasz, an interesting note; it is difficult to imagine that this was once the bottom of a sea.
Smooth pristine snow contrasting with the brown shrubby plants and the hills in the bg.Lovely natural colours and very good light management.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Tomasz.

I like your portrayal of this vast open space, a cruel place to some, the cloud formation and distant hills make for a stunning backdrop to the snow clad foreground.

stv ;o))

Ciao Tomasz, fantastic winter landscape, superb sky, splendid colors, excellent clarity and wonderful light, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hi Tomasz,
Another fine photo of this beautiful wild landscape. A few things though. I find the shadow in the left lower corner slightly distracting and blocking the view. A different POV would be prefered. The photo also looks a little under exposed. The histogram tells the story as most of the details are on the mid tone and shadow area while it should be more in the highlights. Always remember that a camera will under expose in these winter situations. A small adjustments on levels and curves can still do good. Where the cruves is to bring more contrast to the slightly flat presentation.

Hi Tomsz

Splendid colors
Excellent clarity and wonderful light
Well done
