Hello Trekkers,

This is a closeup of a painted tinted glass windows of a Church located at a height. I had to look for a place to get a leveled shot of this glass having immense artwork on it.

I wonder sometimes how productive were the people in the past even they didn't have such high technology we are having today. I admire their dedication in creating such great works.

The sunlight was passing through the glass windows and illuminating this amazing artwork in a beautiful way.

Hope you like it the mood in this shot.

Best regards,

It is not always easy to capture stainglass windows but yo have done a fine job. The colors and patterns achieve the purpose for which they were built ie to glorify the Creator. Nicely done

Hi Paras,
Not always easy to photograph, but you have managed the light and sharpness very well, nice full presentation.

Hi Paras.

Like you, I marvel at stained glass windows and what they offer,a fine example captured here.

stv ;o))

A lovely sharp shot of the stained glass window Paras.
Never the easiest subject, you did a fine job here.
The light is managed extremely well.
I agree with you about the technology; it is a marvel to see what was achieved in the past.
Tfs, regards Jean.

First of all: I am very enthousiastic about church-interiors. I'm not a religious man, but can surely appreciate men achievements over the centuries and in this case the glassmakers.
About your work now.
What I like is the work you did on keeping the colours and yet keep the sides pitchblack.
That brings out the colours a lot stronger.
Good work.

Hi Paras,

the tight frame is putting the staines glass in evidence. The point of view is showing with precision the details and colors of the stained glass. The surrounding light has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.
