'On the edge' of the estate of Greenway, the Devon home of Agatha Christie. The view is looking down to the River Dart, a short boat trip and you are back in Dartmouth.

According to the Guiness Book of Records, Agatha Christie is the best selling author of all time!

If you are ever in the area, the house and grounds of Greenway, are well worth a visit. You can wander around the rooms, looking at her and her husbands collections, amongst other things.

It was a very wet day, thus the light was not great!
Thanks for looking.

What a beauty of county side and indeed the lights are so soft and natural and also an invitaion of vanishing point by an artwork-pic well done JEAN DWYER

a real english grenn grass and a real english grey sky !
but if the light was not the best the F4 give a good restoore from the english landscape!

Beautiful pov and awesome capture of this landscape. I like the effect of the fence, leading ones vision to the center. Good lighting and nice details. Well done, tfs.

Beautiful view and an interesting place, it is great to see the path that maybe walked Agatha Christie,
regards
Ryszard

Love the way this fence is adding depth in the country side scene, Jean!
Superb sharpness and well caught contrasts in the work.
An elegant white bordered frame does enhance the overall appeal of the picture too.
Nice work!

Have a nice Sunday.

Kind regards,
Paras

Hi Jean,
What a lovely view. soft muted colors in a misty atmosphere. AC was one of my favorite authors growing up, although I can not remember when I read one of her books last. In deed it was very pleasing to learn a bit more of her through the photo.

Hi Jean.

A lovely view down river to Dartmouth and Kingswear, you capture so much of the rich trees along the river, nice touch lining up with the fencing for this one.

Hi Jean,

Looks a little like rural New Zealand but without the sheep. Excellent sharpness, colour & saturation. A superb downward pov in this splendid landscape and I like how the barbed wire fence has been incorporated into the composition starting in the bottom left hand corner to add perspective. Tfs!

Bonsoir Jean
Nice and peaceful landscape ; good pov
The "poor" light adds mood
Bon week end
