[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After a month of drought, a storm was brewing. Perhaps a lookout was posted because a leopard had been sighted in the area...but that's a bit too anthropomorphic. In any case, it's rare that giraffe congregate and drink simultaneously at a waterhole...or so I am told by guides who've watched these animals for years.

A beautiful capture, especially with the colour of the sky.

Hello Michael

Like the ominous sky with the deep saturated colors. The reflections add a nice touch. Nice

Reflection of the giraffe is very attractive. Colour looks somewhat unreal with the dark sky and bright sunlight but I know what it can be like with a storm brewing. Dark sky is well reflected in the water.

Hi Michael, I like the light being kept under the dark clouds. Maybe the tall one is keeping watch for the younger ones for a change. Fiona

Hi Michael
A beautiful image. I can feel the storm brewing from where I sit. Well composed and a nice warm light light.
