Perhaps is was the dust flying in all directions, perhaps it was the strange markings of the plumage, certainly something drew me to this one as its not the best in clarity.

Hi Steve,
Perfect timing to capture this Nature shot while the bird is in action.
A very sharp telephoto image.
Nice bokeh BG.

Francis Xavier

what a distinguish busy body well done STEVE FRY

Great and fine, Steve, the little lack of sharpness is compensated by the original pov and excellent timing.
I like it.

There are certain imperfections (clarity, strange dust particles) as you mentioned. There is though a diffuse feeling of natural beauty that makes me give you Yes!

Hi Steve,
WONDERFUL capture of this fella. I think your clarity is spot on.. With just a hint of movement in the wings. Love the colors and lighting. TFS Julie

Hi,well the head and legs are sharp and present an attractive contrast in color the rest of the bird is action and artistically justified.Friendly regards Otto.

Hi Steve,

The light blur of the wings is indicating movement. The point of view is showing the details and colours of the bird. The light has a good effect on the colours. Have a nice day.

Pierre
