[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one landmark that does not require a City Heading,it is so famous world wide,as is the city it belongs to.
I liked that the sun was trying to burst through the grey & that the people, silhouetted, also looked a little like statues, similar to the real ones. Converted to B&W to me it adds a touch more mood, than the coloured version.

I like the mix of light and shade and also the cropped tower look.
An ideal postcard image.

Beautiful composition especially in B&W. Shooting against the sun is very difficult but you did a wonderful job with this. I like the soft focus and the effect of the haze on the mood. Well done, tfs.

Hi Ronald
A well composed photo, I particularly like the reflection. The silhouette and black and white really works well. A good result.

Well, this shows that shooting into the sun isn't always a bad idea. Good perspective and nice silhouettes. While I haven't seen the color version, I tend to agree that B&W might be better here.

An arty shot Ronald! I like the mood, and with the people in silhouette the picture is timeless.
The reflection of the Tower in the puddle is the 'icing on the cake.'
Tfs, regards Jean.

HI Ron..nice old time shot. Great tones and mood....well done.

Hi Ron,
Beautiful play with light in this contre-jour capture.
I like the reflection in the paddle, maybe the missing part of the Eiffel tower!
Beautiful rim lighting on the statues.
Well done for this B&W conversion which suits more!
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Bonjour Ronald,

Vraiment superbe ce cliché. Très beau style ce contre jour. Parfaitement lisible. Bravo.

Ho ho ho ... I know this place ...
This b&w gives a beautiful mood like in an old movie, I like the lighting too.
The reflection is a super bonus.
Very artistic work, love the tower too (without head).
Great perspective !
