[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This young calf was staying very close and even under its mothers belly for protection and security. Elephants are very protective over their little ones and one needs to be cautious and dont enter her space.

Hello Erwin,
This really is a good photograph and it can be difficult to get an image of an elephant that is not largely concealed by vegetation in the wild. B&W is a good choice here as it keeps one's eye concentrated on the elephant cow and her young. I did a workshop to remove the trees growing out of her back and her bum. By the way, did you see the white elephant at Okaukuejo when you lived in Namibia? There were quite a few of them. Best wishes.
