Portrait of a Friend!
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here is a shot of a very good friend from our hike last friday at the Gibson hills trails . the sky was overcast and was threatening to rain the whole time we were there and it did as we were talking at the top of the lower peak in the trail system! Post wise was color and the addition of a warming filter!
What I like about this shot is that She isn't looking at the camera and this was the one serious shot I did get and after this I go a few silly shots , the shot right after this one had here look right at the camera is the same pose, which I may post another time! |

Hi Philippe
I'm not an expert on portrait photography, in fact, I may have mentioned it before, I'm just a keen amateur.
The first thing I notice is the yellow cast which, in my opinion, just makes the photo look dirty. I think there is too much sky, some of that could have been cropped out. Did you try to remove an unattractive sky around the trees? It's not a bad candid shot though.
I hope you don't mind but I've done a workshop, purely for my own entertainment.
Hi Philippe,
Quite agree with Bob - plenty of wasted space in the sky and the tone is a bad choice.A pretty model and a lot of improvement is possible.
