Paris, in the museum, in all museums in general, I like to look at people who look at paintings, it's also about art, to understand their feelings, like living paintings.

This lady and this gentleman have admired for a long time this painting by Claude Monet "Camille on his deathbed".

Camille was Monet's wife, she died at the age of 32.
At that time, women who died young were buried with their bridal veil.

The death of his wife despairs Monet who finds himself widowed with two children.

Love beyond death.

(The bridal veil can make think of movements of the water, a visual sensation, my personal opinion.)

I chose the color, no black and white for this image, when I took the picture I knew that I did not want b&w.
