Hi everybody,
I'm back to some flower shots :))
And this one is special for me. When I was in France last week, I spend a day in Giverny, a small village in the border of Normandy.
Monuments and ancient tombs found in the area aroun 1838 brings us back to civilisations as ancient as 2000 years BC!!!
the city itself got fame and reputation after 1883, when renown paintor Claude Monet rented a state in Giverny and moved in with his lady and their kids. Monet lived in Giverny for 43 years until his death.
Monet's home and legacy make this little town a tourist attraction.
This lovly flower was one of many that grow in Monet's garden. I tell you. it's lovely place...

Take care everybody, Stef :))

Hi Stef,

A beautiful composition with fine details. Excellent shot and well exposed and composed. As always, dew on plants always adds to the composition. Excellent work.

Olá Stef.
belísima flor, para uma pessoa que fez sempre coisas bonitas. Nada mais justo ela embelezar agora o que ele fez tempos atrás.
Parabens pela fotografia. Bela

Olá Stef,

Linda flor muito bem fotografada, grande detalhe e belas cores.
Fica bem,
Fernando

and a lovely picture! Monets garden sure is a lovely place. It is more a park than a garden, as it is so big! And every time of the year there are different flowers. I have not yet seen the iris flowers in the spring, but I have heard there are lots of them. This dahlia is wonderful! Beautiful colours and very nice to see the raindrops on it, too! Well done!

Beautiful colors. I love the details and lighting. Great job!
Thanks for sharing.
