Hi everyone…for those who would like to see the colour version of The Tree Sparrow that I’ve posted yesterday, here it is.
Actually, I was thinking to post it in the workshop but I changed my mind and decided to post a new one in the gallery instead.
Enjoy and feel free to comment.

I like the compostion. I wouldn't have framed the picture though as the fence does a fine job at that in itself. Very sharp and good deep background.

Wow! That's sharp. Good pov and good light. Even lightsparks in it's eyes. Very good job.

Regards,

Don

Hi Lawrence

Superb dof & sharpness, with good framing of the bird with the diamond shaped wire. Congratulations!

I like this one more than the B/W, Lawrence, a beautiful one in colour and the soft green background's working better here, great(er) shot !

Excellent! Sharpness, DOF, composition, frame, everything is really excellent! You've been lucky but such a good photo needs good skills, so congratulations!

Robert

A favorite; at once.
But why is it good?
Combining wild living beauty with human geomtry and material used for boudaries?
Great breaking through and still balance in these aspects! I don't know; just fabuleus.
Sometime our eye sees it at once.
Esthetics is something that shows natural; cannot be described or defined (according to my great friend Wittgenstein)
Thanks Lawrence
Huub

Excellent capture, Lawrence. Everything's nice : focus, POV, colours...
Compliments,
Martine

Beautifull posting, Lawrence.
Well presented.
The shining in the eye is significant for the quality of the shot.
So is the whole composition.
Compliments.

Yeeeeessssss.... Just like i say last time! this is the best result!

Dari budak lin si >:D

Lawrence this is very well composed, the sharpness of the bird and that piece of fence position makes me think that I will see the bird swing back & forth..

Ros

It couldn't be composed better! :)) I'd say perfect! :)
A+ ! :)
cheers
ToM

Just came across your colour version and I must admit that I much prefer it to the B&W one. I think it adds a lot of dimension to it as I think in the B&W everything was a little flatter. The bird has nice colours which are well constrasted against the bright green background. Excellent!

Awesome color and excellent DOF in a great great composition.
