|A kid in a playground, was sitting away from the rest. His expression seemed to belie the cheer suggested by his clothes and surroundings.|
Not the best portrait, took it a while back. I still have to get started in this category, so any improvements/suggestions are welcome!
Have a good weekend everybody!

the basis is good, you focused on the eyes, very important in a portrait, hope you like the workshop, (*_*)

Lakshmi, Magda's WS is an improvement, it's more focused... apart from that the original was already quite good... apart from purely technical things, like grain, overall lack of sharpness and purple fringing around his hair... But the technical aspects one can improve easily - it's an overall nice and interesting portrait.

Are you okay, after the earthquake? Islamabad in Pakistan, was the worst hit, but it was felt in West india & Kabul, too, according to the news here.
I like the pensive look of the boy. It just lacks a little sharpness. Colours lighting & mood are excellent. tfs.
I really liked the boys face but felt that the rod at the left of the image is distracting. And also the picture is not quite sharp enough as it would generally be on a digital camera. You might have done a lot of cropping.
Sometimes opportunities just come to us and we need to take it fast. So, it's the same with pictures! And you did very well. Indeed has some place for improvement (Magda's ws is very nice!) but the base is good. nice colours and a very sweet face from a child ;)
Take care, Stef :))
