[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This bull was one of a pair at the farm I visited.
It was an unaccommodating one and kept turning its head every time I tried to get a shot. This one captures its mood (to gore me if it were free)...thank god it was tied.
I left it alone and sought other subjects after taking a couple of snaps..
Original composition, slightly increased the saturation and ran USM for the details.

This is an all-in-one photo, Ashish! Texture, colors, tonal range, nature (bull) cum artisanry (rope and cast bronze bell) cum industrial mass production (red plastic bead)... very tight crop with a generous amount of depth of field... highly expressive detail (just look at the eye) with motion blur (look at the ear)... very wisely chosen frame (none). Lights, shadows... Absolutely fabulous. A true Animal Spirit Theme pic. Congratulations!

Nice pic! When I try to read the eyes... It's a different feeling of the , very grave expression.. liked it :)

I think he likes you, Ashish! He's got a nice, soft look in his eye. I'm sure you just misunderstood! ;)

"Cute" shot, and really enjoyed your note!

Gayle :)

It is brilliantly composed Ashish. Oh I love this one part ear and one part eye - slanting diagonally out. The sharpness is wonderful and that touch of red of one bead is charming. Very well done.

Hi Ashish!
i like the composition on this. though i feel there's must be give focus capture to something. the lighting is just right, the saturation too.
