|Intro:||Some ten years back, during my first trek in 1997(?)(with Youth Hostel) at Saar Pass, (Himachal Pradesh.) I was able to capture some good shots with my point-and-shoot Kodak camera. Of course, rather it was natural beauty of the land which made the shots great , but then I become interested in photography.|
For the next trek in 1998, I bought a second hand (perhaps third hand:)Cosina Cs1, with Vivitar 35-70 lens (collar belt was of Cannon:). I had no idea what is aperture or what is shutter speed and how to use them (still mostly I lack that).
However, I enjoyed my time with Cosina Cs1 and my goofed up photographs taken with it, which most of are untraceable, and which are available are not publishable!!
For some years I dropped photography on account of being costly affair to experiment with print photography.
Recently, in 2006-07 when digital photography became easily available through cell phone, I decided to start second inning with Sony Ericssion K790i, which boasts famous Cyber Shot series of Sony with 5.1 mega pixel resolution.
After being comfortable with digital photography , I have updated myself with Fujifilm Finepix S8000fd. I use Picasa/Irfanview for basic editing. Now use PhotoFiltre and enjoy using it.
I invite everyone to give critiques and workshops on my photographs. I can supply original images to work upon. You can also find larger images at my Flickr account.
