Yes I liked Malta very much and especially the little town we stayed in - Mellieha - in the less developed north of the Island.

A mountainous, wild and barely developed, rural, sun drenched idyll (Like some of the smaller Greek Islands remain still) Malta is not! I think though that it makes up for this by being a very historic, interesting, generally well built, highly civilised place with a genuine sense of itself as sophisticated nation state that has a lot to offer visitors.
Well worth another visit I reckon especially since I was enjoying the rest there so much I was a stingy in taking the photos. Anyway with any luck I will post several of the few i took in the next few days!
