Yep, great capture of lines, different from your Holland postings and I think this is a fine composition. Great to see how indeed four lines start at the corners. Well seen and presented! Great presentation John.

Beautiful light and perspective.
hi john, great point of view, excellent lines everywhere and overall good creative composition, this is a great image, tfs,
Fantastic compo ! A model for me !
Nice observation, a lot can be learned from your photograph. Funny that because of the warm color it looks sunny inside and cloudy (rainy?) outside.
well effective composed and very good detail.
Well done my friend.TFS,
Hi John,I really like the strength you captured of this structure, great POV, very vibrant image, congratulations.
A great shot that is full of patterns
Love the lines, and the colours leading us into this photo.
It really add to the shot giving great depth unto what almost looks like a glass building.
Question when will you be in Quebec?
I love what you have done here Johnny! Very nice structural shot, well seen lines and you did a great job controlling the light blasting in from above! Nice colors too!
Great picture, nice lines and perspective.
Love the architecture depicted here and your 4 leading lines. Great play with light and colours. Très beau.
Very interesting and nice architecture. You shot that with excellent POV and this is well composed:)

That kind of composition leads the eye and the foot to the top of the stairway. Light comes from many directions. The crop is very symetrical and I think you reached your goal

- [2008-02-27 13:52]
architecture like this is very nice and your shot could be even better in B&W (I know you are not so fun of B&W but.. ) the images like these is made for B&W, you know that :-). TFS

Great balance, very artistic work in PS - the whole scene, were it not functional, could be an abstract sculpture.
Maybe go to the louvre next to take pics of the glass pyramid...... they could use a better picture in wiki for that one!
- linus (15482)
- [2008-02-27 15:22]
I like this very futuristic and abstract looking composition. Well seen and captured.

Well done in PP John. Yep the lines really add to the perspective. Luck to have the scene cleat of walkers. Great colors/tones in a difficult lighting situation.
Erg ingewikkelde architectuur hoor,
Hoe krijgen ze het getekend en uitgevoerd,
If you are a monkey, you will be 52 only, 54 is not qualified as monkey (please check?).
Very interesting framing architecture details in this shot, sometimes designers are really creative to draw on paper and transform into reality their perspectives. Great shot.

- [2008-02-29 1:26]
Nou John, ik krijg gewoon hoogtevrees als ik jouw lead-ins volg.
Zou me helemaal niets lijken om zolang ondergronds te moeten zijn. Hoop dat het ruim en licht is in de ondergrondse.
Ongelovelijk attractief lijnenspel hier. Lijkt net een ontwerptekening van een architecten bureau.
- Ivan (3865)

Très intéressant comme point de vue. All those lines with their changing direction give a special effect. TFS.

Jeez, I need to go to an eye doctor after the weekend, due to the graphical impact of this compo! Wow, what a construction. It's actually all over the place! Amazing.
Some diagonal lines are a bit 'checkered', but well at 800 pix. You have to see this BIG :-).

Hello John !
Another view of a familiar place , that I pass by once a month to attend at a business meeting. Well seen and composed. The ackward entrance is well framed here.
I prefer this one than the previous one with the 3d railings going out of the shot (in front of the fountain).
Hello to Yolanda !
Any news from Constantinos ?

Excellent perspective! I love the entanglement of compositional lines, they bring plenty of visual interest and they carry the eye through the whole picture! Excellent color balance!
p.s. I "ate" all my points for today...I'll be back tomorrow! Deeply appologetic!
This is an intriguing modern composition of straight lines and all sorts of angles and geometric shapes in various degrees and tones of light, John. Good note describing the change from the dark underground to the strong daylight in the station. I didn't quite understand your note re PhotoShop: What did you do about the four lead-in lines, did you add them somehow? - Cheers from Down Under, Cordelia :))
