For a lovely sunday, a thought from you...
Great reflections and this work really excites.
All the best for the image..and for the technical guidances.
Wish the best for you..
What a great idea creating this mirror picture . . and set in reverse . .
I confuse at the beginning . . ha ha . .
I am still not learning about CS . . so maybe I send you the RAW and need your help to do the editing . . if you don't mind . .
Great presentation my friend . .

Very beautiful idea and very well realized. It's nice to see the world "upside down". I remember in my childhood when I liked to hang with my legs suspended in the trees and see the world like in your picture. :-)
Also I like very much the vivid colours.
Have a nice Sunday,

It made my eyes open wide when I first looked at it!
That was a great idea to invert it! It just demonstrates how perfect the reflection is!
Lovely composition, well-saturated colours and just a pleasure to look at!

I was always of that opinion that something strange are happening in Holland, but that everything are reversed I didnt know.
Good shot my friend, creative PP work, compliments.

- [2008-03-02 2:47]
Your PP work still is too difficult for me, but what you are telling is something |I have already seen, that some colours are more likely to display noise. This is one I have to save and because my favourites are full, I use my other theme - have to come up with something with a better name.

Good Sunday morning Johnny,
Beautiful composition and POV.
Love those colors and the clear "up-side-down" reflections.
I'm happy to see such different photos from you friend.
Keep it up.
ps: thanks for the CS lesson. BTW, I forgot to tell you that Sigma lens photo booklet has my this photo printed on front cover. :-)
So we are playing ostrich with this one.
It is very colorful and the flipping was a good idea.
Its definitely a conversation piece.
I have been desperately trying to get accomodations for a couple of days so I could join the group, but I am not having much success. Will keep trying and let you know.
Where will you be staying? And do you plan to go on to Montreal?

A masterpiece of work John,
It's like you painted with your camera,
using the colors elements of real life and placed them
wherever you felt they should be.
Brilliant work is all i can say, I love it.
- sugah_bear69 (4362)
- [2008-03-04 13:16]
Wow, this is like an old master's painting not a photograph. Excellent details especially in the reflections, colors and perspective. Well done, and thanks for the instructions!!!
- Dingo (11964)
- [2008-03-04 14:26]
The reflected image almost looks like a painting, John. Beautiful, well saturated colours indeed. Thanks for the extensive note, I take note of the recommendations. Though, generally speaking, I always use a very mild USM on all channels at once. For a dSLR 80%, 0.3, 0 works just fine - provided you got a sharp picture out of the camera.

The Bridge Under the Water
Very well done John, what a great idea!
The place sort of reminds me of my all too short, stay in Amsterdam a couple of years past.

Though of the upside down world of Frau Holle when I've seen this. Implications of a magic other world beyond the reflections, a portal to another dimension. Which is real, the reflection or the supposed reality?
sorry 'bout that, seems to have been much later, lol!
I am so far behind, I can see my own butt!
- captainsgirl (7132)
- [2008-03-31 11:32]
ahhhh haaaa, you've made quite a painting here, I like your upside down world, good idea flipping it over, pretty much looks like a watercolor painting. Love it! TFS

Hi there, John! I love your creative humour! How simple and sweet to turn this image upside down, my friend. The scene is interesting, there is so much to see under the blue sky in the water. The redo tones on roofs and walls make the composition more vibrant still. Congratulations to Holland on this composition and idea. Wishing you a good Sunday (with a nice lunch in a good restaurant, maybe?) - Cordelia :))
