Postprocessing (with Photofiltre): gamma correction, a little brightness added, much grain added (+ 50%), sepia conversion and, finally, just tried the "postériser"- button in Photofiltre (had never used it), which gave an extra, bichrome grain.

I like the mood here - good choice of noise addition and sepia.

the mood has been captured very well.
i have never tried using posterize but may do soon.

Belle composition et PPwork , J'aime bien le grain (bruits) rajouté à l'image et ainsi que le mode Sepia qui donne un air rétro à ta photo, Belle horloge et jeu avec le miroir, Bravo

Here a title: consolation. This a message, we may make guesses, that for who and why. The clock and the mirror, the symbol of the time and space. Heavy puzzle. What there are in the mirror how? :-) Symbolic and interesting.

Tof experiment !!
Voor mij is dat reuze geslaagd : aparte sfeer én je hebt
het " simpel " gehouden.

Eén " maar " :-)
Heb je overwogen, geprobeerd, ... om die iets donkere
driehoek rechts weg te werken door h'm in dezelfde BG-kleur
te zetten ?
Voor mij onderstreept ie niks, ik stel me alleen de vraag
" wat is dat toch ? "
Gewoon een idee !

And that is the great shot!! idea with adding to sepia this abstract grain is amazing!! the clock- very very oldie one plus this grainy look... i feel like in times in which i wasn`t even born ;o)

i may add, after looking at the photo again, that the reflection in the mirror is very suitable in here as well, as it adds here some bright contrast, which make the photo more lively!

Hi Erik,
Love the stark simplicity of clock and mirrow that catches the reflection of some strong refreshment.
Like the grainy treatment that adds to the simple theme.

j'aime beaucoup cette prise de vue, qui m'a pourtant un peu surprise par le "grain" très voyant et la couleur, mais qui donne un aspect original.
