I am so sorry I haven't been around much. I know I have so many wonderful photos to view and I hope to very soon. I never thought I would miss a day of posting but even that I have unable to do. Well I do miss you all and hope to be back full time soon!
Too much excitement in NY lately. First the 5.8 earthquake a couple of days ago and tonight I sit here waiting for a hurricane to hit. They have evacuated the south shore of Long Island. I am north shore but not sure it will be much better here. I am trying to think positive thoughts.
The other night I went to meet a friend at the beach. It never occured to me to bring my camera and I was so disappointed that I was not prepared for an incredible sunset and this father and son fishing off the pier. I didn't expect much from my iPhone but was fairly satisfied with the results. Wish I was closer and the figures were larger, but all in all I was pleasantly surprised. Added a bit of saturation, resized and reduced noise. Hope you like it.
Have a fantastic weekend! Miss you! :-)

I am very sorry that by this time of the year the natural calamities are taking their toll your county, dear Lori!

Love the golden tones you got on the calm surface of the waters with an amazing sunset moment.
The colors are superb and so eye-catching.

I think that the use of your iphone shows that it is the person behind the camera ireeespective of what the camera is that is the more important factor Lori Beautiful sunset shot enhance by the silhouettes especially the father and son. Nice work
