|More than 3,000 workers and 38 renowned contracting companies took part in the construction of the Mosque.|
The mosque is large enough to accommodate over 40,000 worshipers
There are four minarets on the four corners of the courtyard which rise about 107 m (351 ft) in height. The courtyard, with its floral design, measures about 17,000 m2 (180,000 sq ft),and is considered to be the largest example of marble mosaic in the world
Ok, so that's the gen care of Wikipedia, but let me share the gen alla maggi... it is simply breath taking. I stood in wonder, much like this little girl... made small by this work of man.
It is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful...

Hi Maggi..nice shot...great composition. Excellent graphic lines and tones. Nice work.
You're capturing well this scene by a good angle, so it's impressive to see the beautiful mosque with elegant style and good design. It's impressive in wide courtyard in front of mosque, too. And, a girl standing and wearing red dress at courtyard draws out good effect in the point of entire color balance and composition, I think.
Technically, it's a pity a bit that the mosque of background is white-flying, in my opinion. I tried a workshop, yet this is my personal taste and I hope that you don't mind.
