[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've had very little time recently for photography. Trying to get behind the lens again now...

Just a shot from Venice yesterday - the place is well known for it's carnival and the masks that go with it. Here's a view of one of them.

Only PP is the frame. Shot in the ambient light, portrait mode selected.

Hi David

Amazingly similar styles of photography in our uploads today. Tight framing, 2 similar subjects, strong simple lines & colours and both are artworks. The symmetry between the 2 masks is excellent & the minuscule cracks add textural information & interest. Tfs!

Hi David
beautiful and unique Venetian mask. two in one. well cropped to enhance the artistic aspect. splendid sharpness of textures and good clarity of details.

Hi David,
Well done on this mask photo- with no PP work. Great lighting, details and nice natural colors. TFS Julie

Too tight framing IMHO, David!

In order to maintain a symmetry I might have shown a bit more the hairs of the woman mask (seen on the left) just to give equality to both the genders :)
Hope you don't mind my personal way of looking at this picture.

Except that, technically I find this picture nicely done. The light and exposure are well maintained throughout the picture, and colors look natural as well. A black bordered frame does suit the picture in enhancing its appeal too.

Kind regards,
Paras

Hi David,
Beautiful composition, and the lighting gives a real 3D effect.
The three eyes are a nice design element, well seen.
Pete.
