Agra Fort Verandah:
This is inside Agra Fort - is the most important fort in India. The great Mughals Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb lived here, and the country was governed from here. It contained the largest state treasury and mint. It was visited by foreign ambassadors, travelers and the highest dignitaries who participated in the making of history in India.
In color this Verandah (A resting platform for the tired)looks distracting with flaws in the wall area. So I converted it to B&W.
Hand held at 1/200sec. shutter speed.
Thanks
David

Hi David.

Impressive tones, I love the layers we see through the archways. The people bring much life and pleasure to this. Not sure the pink frame line though tfs

stv ;o))

Hello David, I like the b/w conversion, and thank you for giving your reason.
Your PoV enables us to see the outline of concentric arches which adds a lot to the composition. And as always the people give scale to a place.
I don't mind the thin pink frame, I am not sure that it needs it but it is O.K.
Interesting notes.
Tfs, regards Jean.
