We are here in Egypt again Treklens
One of the 'Cheops' Pyramids

All alone.. my party went after our guide .. but I liked to explore on my own.
At some little remote spot I noticed a small Japanese Gentleman running up and down..Not sure what he was doing.. coming closer(with a smile ofcourse!) I politely said: Konnichi wah..(little bow with the head)
reply was the same and than I noticed.. he had a little pocket camera set on a rock.. pressing the self timer and running up and down...
Looking back he showed me .. and I have to be honest.. this 'pose' is his idea..
Yes .. I also went ''selftimer mad ' after he was gone..

So.. here we are .. leaning on a Pyramid

Thanks and bye Folks

Hello John a fine self portrait! well composed. I might have gone for a little more closed apperature as you seem to have plenty of shutter speed to get a sharp er background but on the other hand it might have taken away the focal point on your beaming smile nice one rgds Necip.

Hello John :o)
You are a giant my friend !!! With a lovely smile ;o) When I was young my father did the same shot with the Eiffel Tower or even with the Mont Saint Michel :o) Good memories ! Thanks for sharing !

Good view onto a pyramid, and good effect with you leaning against it.

How many shots until you got it that way? Might have been better if you two cooperated and shot each other! Any which way it happened, it did turn out well. A Tulip in the Desert!

A few points to the Nihon-jin for the idea, but the points go to you for the execution. Nicely composed. I've neve seen the fg rocks, but they do suggest that the materials came from the local area.
