Not exactly an original composition. This was inspired by the cover page of an older version of the Lonely Planet Travel Guidebook - Philippines.

This is one of the many beaches in El Nido, Palawan. A spectacular island province but very difficult to travel. The tourism infrastucture in the Philippines is not as developed when compared to some of its neighboring SE Asian nations. But I am glad I visited Palawan. I hope to visit and explore other areas of Palawan, perhaps some time.

Taken at around late afternoon. PP work included tweaking of contrast, slight sharpening (I hope I did not overdo it), and desaturation.

Good day!

Hello Danilo,

Again an excellent work with very good saturation, great POV, light, contrast and sharpness!
Congratulations and TFS
Sergio

Hello Danilo!

Here comes another of your wonderful piece of work dear. Great composition in vivid colors. Nice scenery and good POV. Very good view of the Cumulus clouds and good DOF found in the shot.
But do not you think that the noise have been reduced to a little greater extent since the mountains seem to be out of focus and lost their texture. I hope you wont mind this from a junior, but it is just a view.

TFS, indeed lovely and very pleasant shot!

ALi

Hi Danilo,
A good POV to capture this beach shot with a nice boat floating on the surf of the waves on the sand.
Fabulous natural colors with a marvelous sky.
Excellent color tones and a pleasing depth.
Well seen and neatly presented.
best regards,

Hi Danilo,
A captivating image with excellent blend of colours.
Lovely tranformation of colours as you move inwards towards the horizon.
Creamish of the sand to a bright yellowish , to azure and eventually blue.
The sky does its part to make this capture even more attractive. The hills
stands out well displaying different formations.
Have a nice Thursday.

Hi Danilo,

A beautiful beach shot, original or not. The simple presence of the lone boat adds atmosphere to the shot. The diagonal positoning of the beach is perfect and the colors are wonderful. I'm trying to see what Ali is pointing out, but my old eyes aren't too good either :(

Have a nice day!

Ciao Danilo,

You've found the perfect place between different countries.
The place of a paradise.
What a nice area for a good stroll.
Also view the panorama in the care fund for
a pleasant image. I enjoyed seeing this beach,
in perfect light, contrast and sharpness!
Very well composition and nice presentation.

Regards,

Sergio

Great view - well composed too in classic landscape style!! Nice colour..

The sharpening is overdone for sure - oh well, we all do it from time to time!! For me though I find the main subject - the boat to be extremely overexposed. You can barely see any detail in or on it due to this.. I do think the boat needs to be well exposed - especially as it's the subject of the title ;-)

Cheers and here's to Lonely Planet - my fave travel books..

Hi Danilo
I like this wonderful presentation for its changing tones of blue. really gorgeous.
superb capture of beautiful seascape.
a perfect picture for travel guidebook - Philippines.

Maybe the boat is a bit overexposed but I love the colours and the compo.

thanks,

Hi, Danilo. Lovely composition and I like the saturation and gradual transition of the blue color as it approaches the horizon. The reflection of the sky in the water makes it look like a painting. To me the boat and the area looks looks a bit overexposed. The forground rocks, POV and the diagonal composition makes it a beautiful post card. Cheers.

Hola Danilo
Precioso paisaje con un color y luz fantastico ,una imagen llena de vida y alegria gracias por mostrar estos encantadores lugares
Buen trabajo

Wow this is just amazing! A gorgeous place, but your processing makes it look magical Danilo! That water! I could spend my life in it! Superb work, love the inclusion of the boat!

Hi Danilo,

A rare moment you have captured here with such great bonanza of colors, my friend!

A wonderful capture from a beautiful landscape with perfect details! The POV is perfect, showing showing a great cloud formation and nice cliffs.

I do agree with David as the boat is fairly the 'center' of attraction and due to bit OE, affects the quality of the picture somehow.

Overall, a wonderful composition!

best regards,
Paras

Hello Danilo ,

More prominent and enhanced contrast with back lighting presentation of this beautiful beach, the wide angle view with so beautiful POV covering a good horizon looks good here, the vivid color and vibrancy is well sharp one,an elegant exposure with strong impressions!

Thank You for Sharing My Friend,
Mushtaq Hussain.

Beautiful place .
Nice photos great colors and light.

Fantastique vue, le beau sable, avec la roche qui ressort, ce voilier dans les vagues, ce bleu et les belle colines en fond, grandiose.

Hi Danilo,
Nice composition with soft tones and contrasts. I think sharpening is overdone especially at mountain level. Anyway I like it. A good one

Hi,a very good and dynamic seascape. The use of the wide angle hightens the impact of the picture. That ugly outrigger should have been removed and the shot renamed.Regards Otto.

Hello Danilo, very nicely composed image, the details all over the picture are fantastic. The light and colors are just bright enough, well done!

Hi Danilo, impressive lights and colours. A pity the boat is OE. Maybe more beach and less sky would be more effective.

Not to be developed the touristic infrastructures is better IMO for the nature and for its preservation.
That landscape is amazing.

Hi Danilo,
Thank for this energy and sun in my day of Northern January!
The image is strongly luminous and has a strong visual impact with its vivid colors. Yes, the boat is overexposed but, it reveals also the power of this light which makes the interest of this seascape! Bravo! Annie

Hi Danilo,
Very nice landscape with great perpective.

I did look at trying to get to El Nido but only ITI & Seair fly there & I didnt know which of the 4 airports in Manila to go to. I ended up going to Boracay instead. Maybe next time? A superb tropical beach scene with good shadow detail & superb sharpness & colour. The pp sharpening looks fine on my monitor. The slight oe on the boat is not especially troubling. Tfs!

Hello Danilo,

A good photo of this beautiful place.
But the photo in the workshop is much better, great, with excellent sharpness, light, colors...
It's just my opinion.

Best regards,
Tatjana

Hello Danilo,

A delightfully composed shot which includes a strong f/g triangle of sand, with the shoreline crossing the frame diagonally from the b/r/h corner. The rocky outcrops edge the water nicely, assisting the composition by separating it from the sea.

My only negative comment is the regarding the boat which should command importance as the focal image but which almost disappears into the surf covered by the light reflections.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Great, Danilo!
Excellent POV/DOF. Amazing scenery.
I think that's one more "hall of paradise" you have posted.
Greetings,
Raimundo

Hi Danilo, A glorious scene from this long and thin island. It looks like a slice of paradise and maybe less developed compared to Boracay whic i enjoyed visiting recently. TFS. Murray.
