Obitury:

My grand father died yesterday after living 107 years. He lived in the WW-II, observed the division of Pakistan and India, survived in 3 grand martial laws with each spanning 11 years, watched East Pakistan turning into Bangladesh, seen many ups and downs and finally - Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust..........

This is a scanned image, cropped and framed. I shot this portrait last year when I was in Pakistan. You can see him in this post at the age of 106 year. He was good at health till the time of his death as he used to tell stories to his great grand children. Used to roam in the streets around our ancestoral home in Lahore. He lived his life well and proper.

Obitury is written by courtesy of Mr. Inaam Husain, a TL member and my best friend.

Lucky man to have a family that loves him, and his health. Sad to lose him, but he saw the entire world change more than most! I would have loved to hear all about his life!

Lamento la pérdida de tu abuelo, pero creo, por lo que explicas, que tuvo una vida intensa, digna y, sin duda, larga. Seguro que su esencia permanece viva entre tú y el resto de sus seres queridos.

Enric.
