My Perspective in Sepia :)
This vista is part of a very long and circuitous walkway w/ lotsa ups and downs w/ steps, stairs, and a sturdy hanging bridge along a rugged terrain, near a lake within a volcano within a lake within a volcano within a lake... a very unique natural beauty in the Philippines. I'll post that beautiful volcanoscape soon. In the meantime, I hope you like my latest trekpic in the Philippines that I shot before the 2 huge continuous typhoons (hurricanes) arrived :)

Prior to converting it to B&W and sepia, I used some brightening techniques to reveal some details on some dark areas that would usually be hidden after the conversion. I tried cloning out the few leaves on the right but it's not balancing the whole pic so I just left them hangin there. I like the effect the wide-angle lens and the very low POV made :)

I'm posting here a sepia pic from the Philippine treks, in transition from the B&W pic I last posted in Dubai :)
Exposure Time: 1/1244
F-Stop: f/4.5
Focal Length: 7300/1000 mm
Metering Mode: Pattern

Pp work:
1. brigthen
2. desaturate
3. add more red and more yellow using Variation adjustments to achieve a sepia tone

Quote of the Day:
"I didn't want to tell the tree or weed what it was. I wanted it to tell me something and through me express its meaning in nature." -Wynn Bullock

Hi Freddie, this is great. I really love the low POV here and coupled with the sepia it gives it a slightly disturbing feel - out of scale! Which is good :-) Lovely image.

Nice composition and pov, good sepia tones.
Excellent choice of color
Well done

Regards, Steve.

Hi Fred.
A very interesting, a very good perspective and works great, in sepia looks ideal.
A very interesting notice too.

Hallo Fred,
Very nice perspective in this shot, the low POV works very well.
The sepia tone is just right, the two tufts of branches top right would be better if they were cloned out, IMO.
Very well done,

Hey Freddie the extraterrestrial with its laser you has restricted? This is a perspective from ant!!!!!!!!

This is a nice shot Fred! I like the tonal values on this sepia and the composition. It would have been better if you did not crop part of the subject tree.

Another one of your creative POV's, Freddie! The sense of dimension and place is so strong here with this low viewpoint. The sepia conversion is a stroke of genius that adds to the visual impact of the scene. Excellent!

Beautiful perspective and beautiful tones.

wow very interesting perspective :) impressive
