[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's obvious why Meghan is having such a good time, with her paddle resting across her knees--her dad is doing the lion's share of the work. This was taken last summer, but I'm posting it today in honor of Jim's birthday. He's a great dad, and is away celebrating this weekend golfing with our son, nephew, and other friends.

PP Work, just a crop, resize and sharpening.

Happy Birthday Jim and have a great time on the golfcourse
And to Karen this is realy a fine photo. Nice to see the happy face of your daughter and Dad is cautious , for Mohicans or young men to keep away from Meghan ? :-)
Perfect photo, I realy like

Hello Karen,
This is a fine capture!
The point of view works well, might even work if you took a couple of more steps to your left side...
I like the feeling of depth in the frame, and the side light is nice!

Hi Karen,

What a great looking "Dad-Daughter duo"! Your shot is very sharp, nicely composed, has excellent DOF and lighting.

P.S. I have a daughter and the lion's share sounds familiar!

hi karen;
nice family shot.hb to jim.your formal shots are getting closer.tfs

Congrats on the birthday post, Karen! You capture the flavor and fun of the day quite well with these dominant smiles and paddles. Not to mention making us more than a little eager for the return of the kind of warm weather that makes this enjoyment possible. It hit almost 20°F here today -- a veritable heat wave :) Technically, perhaps, an area for improvement would be shooting from a different angle to the sun, avoiding the shadows on the faces. Good colors and contrast, in any case, and you've succeeded in one of the main things -- telling the story you set out to tell with your photo.
