|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I decided to take this shot of Montecarlo when I first caught site of it from the heights of the Grand Corniche winding around the mountains of southern France. I just had time to stop the car, get out quickly and take a quick shot. However I was disappointed with the image when I viewed it later on as it was extremely over exposed. |
Now, thanks to Photoshop I have been able to restore it to the impressive view that first caught my eye. Its a shame I had clipped the corner of the building at the bottom left but there was nothing I could do to correct that.
Montecarlo, despite being full of tourists, is unlike anywhere I have ever been before; unbelievably expensive but very clean. Lots to see and do, I would recommend a day's visit to anyone who is visiting that part of Europe.
PP work - shadows and highlights altered and sharpening.

a beautiful view from this mountaintop captured! Nice composition with a balance between the cityscape and the sea. Good pp work since the contrast levels and details seen in the buildings are great.
