|Another shot taken at the nursery in NJ. So simple but I thought the dof and pastel colors made it stand out. Usualy alterations.. a bit of saturation, resized and shrpened. Hope you like it and are enjoying your weekend!|

Very nicely done Lori (except for the pink bit in the frame ahem!!). The shallow DOF, colours etc are all very good.
It's a little grainy from the 400 ISO, but I can see that you shot at the 300mm end of the lens so needed the speed. A tripod would have been good here to get a crystal clear image at 100 ISO.
Overall a good photo.

Beautiful pastel colors in this close-up shot, Lori. Perfect use of shallow DOF. Perfect minimal shallow focusing while obtaining a splendid blurred continuation of the plant as BG.
Splendid soft contrast between these classical pastel colors.
