[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, from the Black Dragon Pool in Lijiang. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is 5000 metres high, & snow capped. As luck would have it, the clouds closed in, & it started raining, not long after this was shot. The next day was cloud free but I had a bus to catch to Dali, at 8 am. Maybe next time?

YOU have been to some outstanding and most beautiful places Chris. I love the way you composed this picture and given it a darker resolution. Sort of inspires you to be there.
Thanks for sharing

Beautiful setting Chris, captured really nicely. I think that the clouds add to the shot. Congratulations.

Hey Chris,
first I love the name of this beautifully photographed setting. The water is fantastic and the snow capped mountains in the background....wonderful. Very excellent composition and thanks so much for showing us these great settings of our planet.

You've captured a few of my favorite things in this photo, water/reflection, the sky and a vivid colorful landscape.

Well done.

I thought that 'CHINA' didn't exist anymore. A very well composed image, great to have the figures in, tfs, (*_*)

I could tell this was yours in the gallery before I saw you name on it. :) Great photo. nice amount of contrast and cool colors and lighting. The sky is slightly too bright behind the pagoda(?) but not enough to ruin the photo. Great job. JP

Like the compo here Chris , although for the darkness you could have corrected it with levels adjustment ...excellent compo though !!

This is a very quiet place due to the calm water, its colors and reflections.
This is very well shown and an attractive place.

You are very lucky to visit so many beautiful places.
Your shot of the Pagoda and surrounding area is excellent, vivid colors and well balanced lighting.

Beautiful captured & very well composed with a good lighting balanced. The colours are great & the reflections are fantastic.

Nice Catch!...
Te relection is nice & the snow capped mountain in the background adds a contrasting & beautiful background for the dark foreground objects...
You find nice places out...Do you travel a lot to china?...
May be next time I should ask you before I travel to Shanghai...

Have I told you that your photos are all stunning? This one is no exception. Crisp and clear that calls me to become part of the photo....
Do not fret about the weather that have a beautiful cloud formation and the mountains are lovely and apparently draped with some snow. Beautiful.....:O)

This place looks like a dream for me. My dreaming trip since I have 8 years old. Well, meanwhile thank you to make me discover all those places. I like the water colours and texture. It is a nice composition, Thanks

Another beautiful "dream" place! So exotic and different from what we usually see here in North America! Beautiful composition, great colors! Nicely done! Michel

The composition is very nice with the beautiful shape of the temple on the left and the slope of the mountain on the right and the foreground of jade green water enhancing the scene. A very pretty picture indeed.
