[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took a trip to see some sights a few weeks ago.

We visited the windmill at Île Perrot. And while roaming around the park, saw this sailboat through the trees.

PP: Resized, sharpened, color fade correction and framed.

Hello to those of you that are just looking.
And HELLO and THANK YOU VERY MUCH to those of you that take the time to leave critiques/comments/workshops :-).
I worked in my cubicle so I could pay for my house in Windsor, and I looked at that situation, sold the house, sold the car, quit the cubicle and kept the sailboat.

Bonsoir Pierre,
Bravo! Annie

Hi Pierre,
Good composition,nice photo.

Nicely framed by the trees Pierre. A different look, possibly due to a dull day but the sailboat si still quite clear.

Bonsoir Pierre,

J'aime beaucoup le fait que tu as mis un beau cadre feuillus autour du voilier. Cela fait différent.

Merci de partager.

Josée :)

while the framing may be quite effective, i feel that this is way overexposed. i think the camera metered the leaves which blows away the boat and sky. HDR technique is one solution for this situation. you may also want to zoom in to the boat to get more details of the boat.

Excellent POV and great DOF. Very harmonic.

Hello Pierre
I do like the light and shade on your natural frame! The sailboat looks either very cold or very hot... but by your location I'm thinking Still COLD :) Happy to see nice new green leaves on your trees!

Nice idea using the natural frame of the leaves to guide the eye to the surprise, if it weren't for the title, of the sailboat in the haze.
Well done.

I do like the off-beat comp, it is beyond the obvious, very refreshing, hope you are well Pierre? Thanx, M, (*_*)
