Hello Karen,
Well timed shot, clear image. I liked off centre position of bird and blurred BG.
Nice to see your elegant posts

Hi Karen
You are getting some nice close ups with that new camera and this time you have catchlight in his eye.
Well done.

Hell Karen! Very interesting scene. Good composition. Perfect sharpness. ideal background. Original effect. Good luck!

Hello Karen,

The composition, the pose and the interest in the subject, make this compelling. I just love how the bird is tilting its head towards the camera!
Sadly, the focus is not quite sharp, maybe it moved, as so often happens when photographing birds.
Great bokeh.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Karen

Good use of a shallow dof, with excellent sharpness on the feasting brown bird. Tfs!

hi karen, this is composed wisely, nice colors and the simplicity works well, i do wonder if you sharpen your images before posting because i never used to in the beggining---mistake!
it seems fuzzy which we photographers dont like to see of course!
still nice,

Nice shot and fairly sharp considering the shot was handheld.Nice pov and dof
warm regards

Cool, you not only got him, you got him with a bug in his mouth! Nice work Karen! I like the blurred BG here!

hello Karen,
great shot! What a bonus that you managed to catch it with its dinner in its beak. Lovely bokeh too. What a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Bonjour Karen,

Nice bird picture. Well exposed and balanced composition. I feel really sorry for the bird who seems to be stab by a sharp needle. I understand it was there and couldn't do anything about it. I am the kind of photographer who makes images instead of taking images, therefore I don't mind modifying reality in PP if it does improve the image in my mind. So I made a WS to help the poor little bird. Nice picture and TFS
