Wow - there's nothing there! No hills...buildings...people...animals...wow ;-)

Nice image of your neighbourhood, Karen, nice to see where other treklensers live. I like the composition with the road leading our eyes into the distance. Another variation may be to shoot straight down the middle of the road, perhaps.

But it all looks very peaceful and the exposure looks good with natural colours throughout. Nice image :-)

Another reminder why it's so important to open the thumbnail, Karen. It's not an image that leaps at you from the gallery view, but opening it up, I really like that long road wending to the horizon (nice DOF, BTW!), and the simplicity of the one clear, crisp utility pole and the clouds at right. Some might argue you could dispense with some of the left-hand side of the image, but I like where you position the road within the frame.

TFS,
Jim

Hi Karen,
Beautiful sky and a nice lead-in road into the perspective.
Very pleasing composition with nice lighting especially in the clouds creating a nice pattern.
I like the POV with the road giving a nice sense of DOF.
Excellent color saturation!
Nice positioning of the electric pole - it's creating a good impact to the compo.
Well done and nicely seen.

Hi Karen,
Nice simple capture, your POV works well. The brown dirt road seems to break up the colours nicely. Have you added any saturation to the sky or is it all natural? Well taken.

TFS,
Scott.

hi karen
lovely bright shot, the road leads on to horizon, great colours and sky.

Hi Karen,
Simple minimalitic countryside shot, but I like this emptiness here. Colours are nicely saturated and I also like your way of composing the image, it was great to let so much space for the sky, just enlarges the space. Sharp and very clear photo, well done, TFS!
Best wishes,
Kristof

Hello,

Quelle belle vue, quelle immensité, ce chemin de terre rouge avec ce vert, ce ciel, un rêve d'immensité, le poteua ua milieu on dirait qu'il es tout suel, superbe.

Bravoe t maitié

Nicou

It has been captured with vivid details and colours. Good work indeed with fine framing and composition.
Best wishes,
Achim

Well seen Karen
The pole without any wires makes for an interesting focal point. It seems there are other poles so where are the wires? Nicely exposed and the clouds have a 3D effect.

hi karen, nice sharp colorful image here, big sky country-wow. i am raised on the west coast with all the mountains so i could never get use to this flatness! two rights and a left and i would be lost!
thanks,
scott

Gee Karen that's real countryside to me ! Do you drive a gravel road to get to your house ,oh Wow it's so green , i like this view with the fluffy clouds lingering over the pastures , bucolic and rural scene , it also appears so peaceful , tfs your little corner my friend ,
Carol

Hello Karen,

Thank you for sharing your neighbourhood with us.
It is so flat and just goes on forever!
It reinforces my schooldays impression of the Great Plains: vast, flat, highly productive but it also renders a BIG sky. We never get a panoramic view like this!
I love your composition which really emphasises sky and gives a strong perspective.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)
