I took my camera in hand when my Daughter and I stopped to visit a Dressage show on our way to lunch. It brought back some fond memories as I used to be in the business of selling all the equipment to these people plus I rode myself as well as my daughter. Great memories of toting her to shows every weekend for years. It was great fun. Some people are bored watching dressage but I believe its just for the reason that they don't understand it. They see a horse and rider trotting , walking, stopping, cantering around a ring and they don't understand that the rider is actually doing a test , and having to memorize many aspects of the test as well as train their horse to do many special elements. A judge sits at one end and judges every element. Its horse dancing at its finest. I took a shot of this horse in the warm up ring. Afterwards I thought it would make a great painting but decided to make it a watercolor on my photoshop. ( using the watercolor filter)
Now I love horses myself this one is a beauty.
Added some framing to make it more like "Art"
Have a GREAT day!

The water colour filter might not have been MY first choice, but I like the effect here.
Great composition!
